Not to be outdone, Chefs Chris Montero, Greg Reggio, Duke LoCicero, Kevin Belton, Chris Lusk, Aaron Burgau among others will come together on Wednesday to build a 47-foot long Peacemaker Po Boy combining fresh Louisiana Shrimp and Oysters in honor of the 47th Super Bowl.

Which all leads up to the main event.

No, not the game, but the annual Taste of the NFL “The Party with a Purpose®”, the single most successful NFL sanctioned charitable event. On Saturday, February 2nd, thirty-five of the country’s best chefs, each representing an NFL city, as well as thirty-five past and present legends from each NFL team, will come together to eat, drink, and fight hunger. All proceeds from the event will go directly to designated Feeding America food banks.

The Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers may be playing in Super Bowl XLVII, but the MVP will be fresh, sustainable Louisiana Seafood.
